Summary

We are looking for a skilled Barista to join our team at The Bay Cafe. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages and providing excellent customer service to our guests. Your contributions will play a vital role in enhancing the overall experience.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes. Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests and taking orders accurately. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the barista station and dining area. Handle cash transactions efficiently using POS systems. Ensure compliance with food safety and handling regulations. Assist in food preparation as needed, ensuring quality standards are met. Manage time effectively to meet customer demands during peak hours.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing time effectively. Basic math skills for handling transactions and cash management.
