seasonal barista

to join our team at our Old Port location: 417 rue Saint Pierre, Montreal.

We're looking for someone who is:

Passionate about coffee and customer service Experienced - minimum

1 year

as a barista in a specialty coffee shop Bilingual (English and French) A strong communicator with a friendly and professional attitude Comfortable working both independently and in a team Reliable, punctual, and highly organized Quick and focused in a fast-paced environment Meticulous about cleanliness and keeping the space tidy

What you'll be doing:

Preparing espresso-based drinks and other specialty coffee beverages Serving pastries and helping customers make selections Educating guests about our coffee offerings and helping them choose beans that suit their taste Keeping the cafe clean, well-stocked, and beautifully organized throughout the day Performing opening duties (brewing filter coffee, baking pastries, setting up the bar) Handling closing duties (cleaning, restocking, prepping for the next day) Operating the cash register and POS system

Salary:

$16.10/hour + tips (around $8/hour)

Hours:

approx. 20 hours/week

Opening Hours:

8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, 7 days a week

Position type:

Seasonal, until December 15. After this date, the position will end unless additional hours become available.
