We are seeking a passionate and energetic Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be the face of our coffee shop, responsible for crafting high-quality beverages and providing exceptional customer service. Your role will involve interacting with customers, preparing drinks, and maintaining a clean and inviting environment. Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other menu items according to established recipes and standards. Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly and taking their orders efficiently. Operate the cash register, handle cash transactions accurately, and manage the Point of Sale (POS) system. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including equipment, utensils, and dining areas. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, syrups, milk, and other supplies. Engage with customers to ensure satisfaction with their orders and address any concerns or questions they may have. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and enhance overall customer experience.

Qualifications

Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and managing payments accurately. Time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during busy periods. Familiarity with cashiering practices and cash handling procedures is a plus. A passion for coffee and willingness to learn about different brewing methods and beverage preparation techniques. Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Pay: $17.20-$23.00 per hour
