As a Barista, you will be responsible for creating exceptional coffee beverages and providing outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other specialty drinks according to established recipes and standards. Operate the espresso machine and other equipment efficiently while maintaining cleanliness. Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and answering questions about menu items. Handle cash transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including the coffee station and dining area. Adhere to food safety guidelines and ensure compliance with health regulations. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of supplies and notifying management when reordering is necessary. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment.

Skills

Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during peak hours. Experience in cashiering and handling cash transactions accurately. Background in food service or the food industry is preferred. Basic math skills for processing transactions and managing cash flow. Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure a safe environment for customers. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with patrons. Familiarity with POS systems is a plus. A willingness to help team members and contribute to a collaborative work atmosphere.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.85-$20.00 per hour
