Job Summary

As a Barista at Le Cafe du Port, you'll be the face of our cafe, providing exceptional customer service while crafting delicious coffee and beverages. You'll ensure every guest has a memorable experience through friendly interactions, attention to detail, and consistent quality.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and serve espresso-based drinks, coffee, teas, and specialty beverages to cafe standards. Greet and engage customers warmly, take orders accurately, and handle payments. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including coffee bar, equipment, and seating area. Restock supplies (milk, syrups, cups, etc.) and assist with inventory management. Support the team with opening, closing, and daily cafe operations. Follow health, safety, and food-handling guidelines. Occasionally assist with events and community gatherings hosted at the cafe.

Qualifications

Previous barista or cafe experience preferred, but training will be provided. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and care. Positive, team-oriented attitude with a passion for coffee and hospitality. Flexible availability, including weekends and evenings.
