Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting delicious beverages and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced cafe environment.

Duties:

- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages such as coffee, tea, and specialty drinks

- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently

- Operate the POS system to process transactions

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe and work area

- Restock inventory and supplies as needed

- Provide exceptional customer service with a friendly demeanor

- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays

- Follow food safety standards and guidelines

- Handle cash transactions and ensure accuracy in handling money

- Engage with customers in a friendly, welcoming manner, fostering a sense of community and belonging

- Collaborate with team members to uphold our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction

- Contribute to the overall success of the cafe by assisting with various tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience with operating a commercial espresso machine and making speicalty coffees preffered, but training will be provided

- Proficiency in basic math for cash handling and order processing

- Knowledge of food safety practices

- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently

- English speaking and great commucation skills

- Ability to work well in a team environment

Nice-to-Have Skills:

- Experience with POS systems

- Familiarity with food handling procedures

- Understanding of basic math principles for accurate order processing

- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
