Job Title: Barista

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and friendly Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee and providing exceptional customer service. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of coffee beverages, handling cash transactions, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks following company recipes and standards
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly manner
- Operate POS system to process orders and handle cash transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station and dining area
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the health and safety of customers
- Assist in food preparation as needed
- Uphold a high level of professionalism and teamwork within the cafe environment

Experience:
- Previous experience in food service or customer-facing roles preferred
- Knowledge of basic math for cash handling purposes
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Familiarity with food safety practices is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Pay: $17.20 per hour
