We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. Your exceptional customer service skills will ensure that each guest has a memorable experience, making them want to return.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment and utensils. Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Handle cash transactions efficiently using the POS system, ensuring accurate cash handling practices. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including baking or assembling food items. Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during peak hours while maintaining quality standards. Follow all food safety and handling guidelines to ensure compliance with health regulations.

Skills

Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse clientele. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Familiarity with POS systems for efficient order processing. Knowledge of food handling practices to maintain safety and hygiene standards. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
