Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and customer service, providing an exceptional experience to our patrons. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere in our cafe.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and standards. Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and answering questions about menu items. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including equipment and utensils. Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the highest quality of food handling and preparation. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for order processing and cash handling. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Uphold time management skills to efficiently serve customers while maintaining quality standards.

Requirements

Previous experience in the food service or food industry is preferred but not mandatory. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately at the POS system. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy periods. A team-oriented mindset with a willingness to help colleagues as needed. Passion for coffee and eagerness to learn about different brewing methods and beverage preparation techniques.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.90-$19.50 per hour
