We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Barbershop Manager/ Barber to oversee daily operations in our barbershop environment. Your role will include, but not be limited to Managing the shop (administrative duties about 6- 10 hours per week) and Barbering ( 28- 32 hours per week). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in store management, sales, and barbering, with the ability to lead a team, enhance customer satisfaction, and drive sales performance. This role requires excellent organizational skills and a passion for retail, ensuring that our shop operates efficiently while delivering exceptional service to our customers.
Responsibilities as a Manager
Manage day-to-day operations of the shop, ensuring high standards of customer service and store presentation.
Implement training programs for staff to enhance their skills in sales management and customer engagement.
Monitor sales performance and adjust strategies to maximize profitability.
Oversee inventory management, including buying decisions and stock replenishment.
Foster a positive work environment through effective team leadership and motivation.
Engage with customers to understand their needs, resolve issues, and promote products effectively.
Utilize math skills for accurate cash handling and financial reporting.
Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures while ensuring a safe shopping environment.
Requirements
Proven experience in retail sales management or store management is essential.
Strong skills in training development to enhance team capabilities.
Ability to sell products effectively while understanding market dynamics.
Proficiency in math for inventory management and financial transactions.
Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities as a Barber:
- Assisting clients in choosing the right hairstyle or treatment
- Provide hair cutting, styling, and grooming services to clients
- Perform beard trims and shaves
- Offer hair coloring and highlighting services
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the work area
- Manage front desk duties such as scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and greeting clients
- Upsell salon products and services to enhance the client experience
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and techniques through continuous learning and professional development
Qualifications:
Red Seal/Certified Barber or Stylist
Demonstrate consistent high-quality technical skill in all areas of cutting including, but not limited to, clipper cuts with fades, natural necklines, texturizing, and customization to client needs and hair type
Maximize retail opportunities through consistent and effective chair education with guests
