Founded in 2022, Coastline is a locally owned and operated Barbershop in Shediac. Conveniently located on Main Street in one of New Brunswick's busiest tourist destinations, we are busy and growing!

With our busiest season quickly approaching, we are looking for an experienced

Barber to join our team. This is a permanent position with full-time hours anticipated, for the successful candidate.

Role Description

Hair Cutting and Styling:

Consult with clients to understand their desired hairstyle; Use appropriate cutting techniques to achieve the desired look; Style hair using various tools such as scissors, clippers, and razors; Provide advice on hair care and maintenance to clients.
Beard and Moustache Grooming:

Trim and shape beards and moustaches according to client preferences; Use razors and other grooming tools safely and effectively; Offer recommendations for beard and moustache care products.
Shaving:

Perform traditional or modern shaving techniques; Ensure a smooth and close shave while maintaining client comfort; Apply appropriate pre-shave and post-shave treatments.
Customer Service:

Greet clients warmly and create a welcoming atmosphere; Listen to clients' preferences and provide personalized services; Handle client inquiries and concerns professionally.

Qualifications/Skills

Active member/certificate holder with/from the New Brunswick Registered Barbers' Association, or another Provincial governing body; Excellent interpersonal/customer service skills; Attention to detail; Time management; Professionalism.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $15.25-$29.19 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 45 per week
