We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Bar Manager/Bartender to join our team. This role is essential for creating an exceptional guest experience through outstanding service and beverage knowledge. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food and beverage industry, with a focus on bar management, customer service, and team leadership. You will be responsible for overseeing bar operations, managing staff, and ensuring that all guests receive top-notch service.
Duties
Manage daily bar operations, including inventory control and cash handling.
Prepare and serve beverages in accordance with established recipes and standards.
Train and develop bar staff in service techniques, product knowledge, and customer interaction.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness of the bar area.
Supervise staff during shifts to ensure excellent service and adherence to company policies.
Collaborate with kitchen management to coordinate food preparation and service during busy periods.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly.
Monitor inventory levels and place orders as necessary to maintain stock levels.
Assist in budgeting and financial planning for bar operations.
Skills
Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food handling practices.
Proficiency in POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient order processing.
Experience in quick service & fast food restaurants as well as fine dining establishments.
Excellent cash handling skills with attention to detail in financial transactions.
Proven experience in staff training, development, and team management within a hospitality setting.
Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations to ensure compliance.
Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and supervise a diverse team effectively.
Familiarity with banquet services, catering operations, and casual dining experiences is a plus.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to create positive guest interactions.
