Job Summary


We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Manager to oversee our bar operations, ensuring exceptional service and a high-quality experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for the food and beverage industry, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and customer service. This role requires a blend of management skills, culinary knowledge, and a keen understanding of bar operations.

Duties



Supervise daily bar operations, including staff management and scheduling. Train, mentor, and evaluate bar staff to ensure excellent customer service and adherence to company standards. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality and safety standards. Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and conducting regular stock checks. Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems, including Micros POS. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices. Develop creative drink menus and coordinate special events or promotions to enhance guest experience. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration among staff members. Address customer inquiries or complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction.

Qualifications



Proven experience in restaurant management or bar management roles within the food industry. Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations is preferred. Excellent leadership skills with experience in supervising teams and conducting interviews. Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on hospitality. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and financial reporting within a bar setting. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling. Previous experience with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is advantageous. Hotel or barista experience is a plus but not required.
