Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar/Restaurant Supervisor to lead our bar team and oversee all aspects of bar operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food and beverage industry, with a focus on exceptional customer service, team management, and operational efficiency. As a Bar /Restaurant Supervisor, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests while ensuring that all staff are trained to deliver high-quality service.

Duties

Oversee daily bar operations, including inventory management and ordering supplies. Ensure compliance with food safety and handling regulations. Train, supervise, and mentor bar staff to maintain high standards of service. Manage the POS system (Micros POS) for accurate cash handling and reporting. Develop and implement cocktail menus that reflect current trends while catering to customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in accordance with health regulations. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues promptly. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods. Conduct interviews and assist in hiring new staff members as needed. Monitor staff performance and provide constructive feedback to promote professional growth.

Experience

Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food industry. Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and serving within a hospitality setting. Previous supervisory experience is essential, with demonstrated leadership skills. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and experience using POS systems (Micros POS preferred). Excellent customer service skills with a passion for creating memorable guest experiences. Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food handling. Experience in barista duties or hotel environments is a plus.
