Responsibilities



Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Serve food and beverages efficiently and accurately according to event specifications, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality. Clear tables promptly, bussing dishes and resetting tables to prepare for the next course or guest. Collaborate with catering and culinary teams to ensure timely delivery of meals and special dietary accommodations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas, adhering to food safety and handling protocols at all times. Assist with setup and breakdown of banquet events, including arranging tables, linens, utensils, and decor as needed. Provide excellent guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly, ensuring a positive experience for all attendees. Support team members during busy service periods by performing food running duties or assisting with food preparation when necessary. Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling, sanitation, and customer service standards. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs unassisted

Experience



Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality sector is required, especially with banquet or catering service roles. Culinary experience or background in food handling enhances your ability to serve confidently and professionally. Experience with basic audio visual equipment is required Proven skills in guest services, customer relations, or restaurant experience demonstrate your ability to create memorable guest interactions. Experience with bussing, food service, or catering operations is a plus for seamless event execution. Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food preparation techniques ensures compliance with health standards. Hotel experience or coffee service background can be advantageous in providing versatile support across various hospitality settings. Strong communication skills combined with a friendly demeanor help foster positive guest relations throughout each event.
