Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Banquet Servers to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering exceptional service during events, ensuring that guests have a memorable experience. As a Banquet Server, you will be responsible for serving food and beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and providing outstanding guest services in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including arranging tables and chairs. Serve food and beverages to guests promptly and courteously. Assist with the preparation of food stations and ensure proper food presentation. Maintain cleanliness of service areas, including clearing tables and disposing of waste. Respond to guest inquiries and requests with professionalism and courtesy. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any guest needs. Adhere to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Assist with the breakdown of events by cleaning up and resetting the venue for future use.

Experience

Previous experience in guest services or the hospitality industry is preferred. Familiarity with food safety practices and food handling regulations is a plus. Experience in bartending or knowledge of beverage service is advantageous. Strong customer service skills with the ability to work well under pressure. Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor are essential for interacting with guests effectively. Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
Join us in creating unforgettable experiences for our guests as a Banquet Server! This is for a two day catering event taking place on July 23 and July 25th. We are looking for individuals with experience in serving events.

Job Type: Freelance

Pay: $17.85-$18.79 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 10 per week
