Banquet Server

, you play a vital front-of-house role in creating memorable events--from corporate meetings to elegant weddings and celebrations. With your polished service style, attention to detail, and genuine hospitality, you'll ensure every guest feels welcomed, cared for, and impressed. Whether you're serving a plated dinner or maintaining a buffet, your professionalism and positive attitude directly shape the guest experience.

As a Banquet Server you will

Deliver Exceptional Service

- Provide prompt, courteous food and beverage service according to event standards and BEO specifications. From greeting guests to clearing tables, you ensure service flows smoothly and professionally throughout the event.

Master the Details

- Read and understand Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) to properly set tables, prepare service stations, and execute events exactly as planned. Your attention to detail ensures accuracy and consistency for every function.

Be a Welcoming Host

- Engage guests with a friendly demeanor, answer questions confidently, make recommendations, upsell beverages when appropriate, and help create a warm, memorable atmosphere.

Maintain Presentation & Cleanliness

- Keep tables, buffets, and service areas clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times. Clear used dishes promptly and reset spaces efficiently as the event progresses.

Promote Safety & Professionalism

- Follow all hotel safety, sanitation, and service standards. Handle food, beverages, and equipment responsibly while remaining alert to guest needs and potential concerns.



Job Requirements




High school diploma or equivalent preferred Banquet or food service experience preferred Serve Right certification required Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods Strong communication, teamwork, and guest service skills Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays



Additional Job Duties




Read and execute Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) Set and clear tables; prepare rooms for banquets and events Serve food, beverages, wine, coffee, and tea according to standards Maintain buffets, beverage stations, and cleanliness of service areas Provide friendly, professional guest service and respond to requests Assist with setup, breakdown, and cleaning of event spaces Follow all safety, sanitation, and alcohol service policies Perform other duties as assigned
