Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Banquet Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional guest services in a fast-paced environment. As a Banquet Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our events run smoothly and that guests have an unforgettable experience. This position requires a strong background in the food industry, hospitality, and customer service.

Duties

Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including table settings and decorations. Serve food and beverages to guests in an efficient and courteous manner. Assist with food preparation and ensure all food safety standards are met during service. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area and ensure tables are promptly cleared after use. Provide excellent guest services by addressing any requests or concerns promptly and professionally. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of meals and adherence to menu specifications. Follow all safety and sanitation policies to maintain a safe working environment.

Experience

Previous restaurant or hotel experience is preferred, with a focus on banquet or catering services. Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Experience in hospitality or guest services is highly valued. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated during events. Knowledge of food preparation techniques is beneficial but not required.
