Looking for an Afghan Experienced Chef for catering and Banquet Events located at Concord.

Duties
Prepare and cook a variety of Afghan dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
Assist in menu planning and ensure timely execution of all banquet orders
Supervise kitchen staff during shifts, providing leadership and guidance to ensure smooth operations
Manage inventory control, including ordering, receiving, and proper storage of food supplies
Coordinate with event planners and service staff to meet specific dietary requirements and presentation expectations
Skills
Extensive banquet experience with a strong understanding of catering operations
Understanding of Afghan/South Asian/Middle Eastern Events and Catering procedures
Supervising experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Background in dietary department protocols and special dietary accommodations
Leadership abilities with experience managing kitchen teams and shift operations
Inventory management skills including inventory control and food handling procedures
Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and HACCP guidelines
Experience with restaurant or hospitality management is REQUIRED
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract, Casual
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
