What you would do:

Liaise with Catering department regarding menu planning and client requests Prepare food for client tastings Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas Start prep work on items needed for the particular menu of the day Set up stocking stations with all necessary supplies Prepare food for service Cook menu items in cooperation with colleagues Follow the direction and guidance of the Banquet Chef and Executive Chef Clean up your workstation and follow company standards with regards to left over food Stock inventory and assist with ordering product Ensure that food is prepared and presented to the highest standard of quality Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards Maintain a positive and professional approach with our guests and your fellow team members
What you need:

Proven experience as a buffet or line cook working with Indian cuisine Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
