We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong knowledge of bartending techniques. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, crafting delicious beverages, and ensuring that guests have an enjoyable experience. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining the high standards of our establishment while adhering to food safety regulations.
Responsibilities
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and offering recommendations.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
Monitor inventory levels of liquor, beer, wine, and other supplies; assist in ordering as needed.
Adhere to all food safety and handling regulations to ensure a safe environment for both staff and customers.
Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for order processing and payment transactions.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional manner.
This is an on call position based on events scheduled. Hours are not guaranteed.
Experience
Previous experience in bartending or a related role within the food industry is preferred.
Strong knowledge of mixology, beverage preparation techniques, and food safety standards.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse clientele.
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change accurately.
Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
A background in hospitality is advantageous but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
