Job Overview:
Based in Vancouver, the Banking Administrator (BA) will report to the Manager, Banking Administration to provide administra ti ve support to Finance and Property Administration teams rela ting to daily, monthly and annual Banking and Cash Management activities to ensure accuracy of financial information. This is an important role and will allow QuadReal to increase its value by providing more responsive and accurate service to the teams we support.
Responsibilities:
Prepara ti on of daily, weekly and monthly Bank Reconcilia ti ons for assigned accounts
Process the Setup, Update or Cancella ti on of Tenant EFTs/PADs and Vendor PADs from the Property Administration team
Ac ti on Posi ti ve Pay excep ti ons for CIBC and RBC accounts as required
Complete assigned ad-hoc tasks received in Shared Team outlook account
Prepare Bank Deposits as required
Update Daily Tenant EFT and Vendor PAP listings
Prepare journal entries when required
Communicate and follow up with Finance and Property Administra ti on teams of unposted transac ti ons on the bank reconcilia ti on
Process assigned Account Transfers and Wire Payments on various Online Banking Pla tforms
Experience:
Minimum 6 months post secondary educa ti on
Must possess an ap ti tude for numbers
Previous experience comple ti ng Bank Reconcilia ti ons
Intermediate skills in Microso ft Excel. Experience with ERP systems such as YARDI Voyager is considered an asset
Rela ti onship Skills: ability to communicate effec ti vely, both oral and written; ability to develop and sustain coopera ti ve working rela ti onships with internal departments; team player
Organiza ti onal/Mul ti -Tasking: ability to allocate ti me effec ti vely, work under pressure to meet deadlines; ability to handle mul ti ple demands and compe ti ng priori ti es; ability to priori ti ze workload; ability to work at a detailed level and willingness to learn in a dynamic environment that includes new ideas and change
Decision Making Skills: ability to iden ti fy, analyze and solve problems; ability to take decisive ac ti on within authorized limits

The expected annualized base salary range for this role is $55,000 - $60,000.
The actual salary offered will take into consideration a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the individual's skill, experience, education and training, the market compensation of the role, and the consideration to internal equity.
