Crown Shred & Recycling is a leader in sustainable recycling solutions, and we are looking for a laborer to join our team in our reload/baling facility.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate baling machinery to compress, tie, and eject bales of recyclable materials. Operate scale to weigh trucks in and out as they come to the site. Monitor bale output for proper density, tie integrity, and quality control. Ensure trailers are loaded in compliance with weight distribution and safety regulations. Keep machinery and surrounding work area clean and free of material buildup. Complete load documentation and bale tickets as required. Perform daily equipment checks and report any malfunctions or maintenance issues. Follow all health and safety guidelines and wear required PPE. Assist with sorting, cleanup, or maintenance as needed.
Qualifications (required):

High school diploma or GED. Must pass a criminal record check. Drivers license. Physically fit -- ability to lift 50-75 lbs, bend, stand, and work in hot/cold conditions. Comfortable working around large industrial machinery. Basic understanding of workplace safety practices. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications (preferred):

Experience in a recycling facility, warehouse, or manufacturing environment. 1+ years of experience operating balers or other recycling equipment. WHMIS, First Aid, or other safety certifications. Mechanical aptitude or minor maintenance skills.
