Responsibilities



Installation of small parts, airlines, glycol lines, electrical boxes, mud flaps, placards, wiring, heaters, burners, boom hoses, wash pumps and reels Assemble components in a wash cabinet. Mount wash cabinet onto unit Drilling holes and grinding down rough edges to fit wiring and other components onto unit Lifting decks, vertical boxes, hose trays and other larger items Climbing and working from the top of the wash cabinet, tank and using ladders and platforms Static standing, kneeling, and crawling under trucks and tanks. Run and test the operation of the unit and wash system ensuring all functions are operational. Follow Custom Vac Services legislative and regulatory compliance policies and procedures through service process. Ensure safe practices and rules are followed through a clean, organized, and visual workplace. Understand and apply company policies and goals to ensure a fair and respectful work environment. Generate ideas and implement changes in processes and in the use of equipment to increase efficiency, improve safety and quality, reduce cost, and improve morale. Work with management and support teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve product problems and develop new efficiencies. Identify non-conformances and make recommendations to management. Perform general labor duties on vacuum trucks if assigned. Perform other duties, assignments and special projects as directed.

Qualifications





+ Experience using welding equipment and procedures considered an asset + Experience using electrical or manual tools
+ Experience in Vacuum truck componentry, including vacuum blowers, hydraulics, air and electrical.
+ Ability to practice safe work practices and properly use PPE
+ High attention to detail required, with the ability to look ahead in the work process
+ Patience and adaptability to multi-tasking
+ Ability to speak, read and write in English.
