Our Eckville Food Store is looking for a full-time Bakery/Deli Supervisor to join our team.

Full-time: 40 hours/week. Benefit eligible after 3 months.

This position provides benefits, if you are coming from out of province please remember you need to have AB Health coverage to be covered by our plan provider.

Availability requirements: Weekdays and weekends - mornings, afternoons and evenings.

Responsibilities:

• Be a productive team member while promoting Co-op memberships and benefits,
• Be familiar with and adhere to Central Alberta Co-op policies and procedures,
• Provide outstanding customer service as well as assist in reducing theft and loss,
• Assist store management in the organization, direction, and coordination of the department to achieve budgeted goals,
• Order, receive, and display merchandise,
• Process accurate paperwork in a timely manner and assist with the management/leadership of team members within the department,
• Other duties as assigned by the manager.

Qualifications:

• Excellent customer service and communication skills,
• Proven ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment,
• Good delegation skills with a focus on customer service,
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills,
• Ability to prioritize work and adapt to changes,
• Some heavy lifting is required (up to 50 lbs.).
