Marvelous by Fred is a famous patisserie from France that has over 50 locations around the world.
The renown of the establishment was made on chef Frederic Vaucamps' "Merveilleux" cakes' recipe: meringue coated with chocolate whipped cream covered with chocolate shavings. The shop serves other products such as croissants, chocolate croissants, sandwiches, cramiks brioches and Flemish waffles. You can learn more about our company at www.marvelousbyfred.ca.
As a sales associate, you will be
responsible for welcoming customers and running them through all our products.
You will also be trained to become a viennoiseries and brioches cook for opening shifts. Your related responsibilities and duties will be:
Opening and closing the shop with a co-worker (6:30am - 3pm or 11:45am - 8:15pm shift) Baking croissants, chocolate croissants and cramik brioches (use of ovens) Making dishes and cleaning the shop Being multi-tasking and willing to assist your co-workers
The ideal candidate is someone who:
is dynamic (works fast) and doesn't mind working under a little bit of pressure sometimes (we get vey busy on week-ends) can work independently as well as part of the team can work on weekends, both morning and evening shifts has a previous experience in customer service has an interest in the artisan pastries baking process has excellent attention to detail and a positive attitude
