Roles and Responsibilities

As Bakery Operations Manager, you will be the backbone of our daily operations--ensuring smooth workflows, impeccable quality, and a warm customer experience. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Inventory Oversight

Manage inventory of raw materials, ingredients, and packaging supplies Implement waste reduction strategies, including coordination with TooGoodToGo
2. Quality Control

Monitor hygiene and sanitation across all production areas Maintain thorough knowledge of all ingredients used in bakery products Oversee product presentation and freshness at the front of house Ensure full compliance with food safety regulations
3. Staff Management

Prepare staff schedules and assign daily tasks Support onboarding and training of new bakers and team members
4. Financial Management

Track operating costs and ingredient expenses Review daily sales reports with management Minimize loss through proper stock rotation and waste control Tally cash daily to ensure register accuracy Manage the float and maintain backup coins and small bills in the safe
5. Customer Service & Content Production

Ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately and punctually Handle escalated customer complaints and special requests Collaborate with marketing for product photography and video content Monitor company email for incoming customer orders and inquiries
6. Health & Safety Compliance

Enforce workplace safety standards and protocols Oversee regular cleaning, sanitizing, and equipment maintenance Ensure all staff adhere to food handling and storage guidelines
