Direct and control daily operations Plan and organize daily operations Manage staff and assign duties Determine merchandise and services to be sold Develop and implement marketing strategies Determine staffing requirements Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages Recruit, hire and supervise staff and/or volunteers Conduct performance reviews Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality Recommend personnel actions such as hiring and promotions Establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities with other work units Train staff/workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies
