Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Baker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in baking and food preparation, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to food safety. As a Baker, you will be responsible for creating a variety of baked goods, ensuring high-quality standards, and providing excellent customer service. We will provide training on the job.

5am Start time for every shift*

Prepare and bake a variety of goods including bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies according to established recipes. Decorate cakes and other baked items with attention to detail and artistic presentation. Package finished products for display and sale while ensuring proper food handling procedures are followed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies. Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely production and delivery of baked goods.

Experience

Previous experience in the food industry, specifically in baking or pastry preparation is preferred. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling. Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools used in baking processes. Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with customers. Creative skills in cake decorating are a plus. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality standards.
