Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and bake breads, pastries, cookies, cakes, and other baked goods according to recipes and production schedules.
Measure, mix, and combine ingredients using baking equipment such as mixers, ovens, and proofers.
Monitor product quality and adjust processes to ensure consistent results.
Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
Manage baking inventory, including ingredient rotation and ordering supplies as needed.
Decorate baked goods with glazes, icings, or fillings as required.
Collaborate with the bakery team to develop new recipes and seasonal offerings.
Ensure all baked products are completed on time for display and customer orders.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Baker, Pastry Chef, or similar role.
Knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and food safety practices.
Ability to follow recipes and maintain consistent product quality.
Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Culinary or baking certification (preferred but not required).
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for long periods.
Must be able to lift up to [e.g., 25-50 lbs].
