Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and bake a wide range of breads, pastries, cakes, cookies, and other bakery items.
Follow recipes and production schedules to ensure consistent quality and presentation.
Measure and mix ingredients accurately, using scales, mixers, and other baking equipment.
Monitor baking process, adjusting oven temperatures and baking times as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and workstations, following food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Manage inventory of ingredients and supplies; report shortages or equipment issues to management.
Assist in developing new recipes and seasonal items.
Ensure all baked goods meet company standards for freshness, taste, and appearance.
Collaborate with other kitchen and front-of-house staff to meet customer needs efficiently.
Qualifications and Skills:
Proven experience as a baker, pastry chef, or similar role.
Knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and food safety standards.
Ability to work early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Creativity and passion for baking and presentation.
Work Environment:
Fast-paced bakery or kitchen setting.
May require working in hot environments near ovens and other baking equipment.
