Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Baker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in baking and food preparation, with the ability to create a variety of baked goods, including breads, pastries, and cakes. This role requires a commitment to food safety and quality, as well as excellent customer service skills to ensure a delightful experience for our patrons.

Duties

Prepare and bake a wide range of products, including breads, pastries, and specialty cakes. Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency in product quality. Decorate cakes and pastries with creativity and attention to detail. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety standards. Package baked goods for display and sale, ensuring they are presented attractively. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies. Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers and addressing their inquiries about products.

Skills

Proficient in baking techniques and food preparation methods. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Experience in cake decorating is highly desirable. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Excellent communication skills for effective customer interaction. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Previous experience in a restaurant or bakery setting is an advantage.
