We are seeking a skilled and passionate Baker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, with experience in food preparation and safety. As a Baker, you will be responsible for creating a variety of baked goods, ensuring high-quality standards, and delivering exceptional customer service. Your creativity in cake decorating and ability to handle food safely will contribute to our reputation for excellence.

Responsibilities

Prepare and bake a wide range of products including cookies, cupcakes, cakes, and squares. Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency in taste and presentation. Decorate cakes and other baked goods up to quality standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area according to food safety standards. Monitor inventory levels of baking supplies and assist in ordering as needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers and addressing their needs while preparing orders.

Experience

Valid Food Safe Certificate. Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant environment is preferred. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety regulations is essential. Skills in cake decorating and creative presentation are highly desirable. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team setting - team mentality. Experience with food handling practices to maintain a safe working environment.
