Position Overview:

Lucky Supermarket is seeking a skilled and motivated

Baker

to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience preparing a variety of baked goods, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring high-quality products that meet established standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare doughs, batters, icings, and frostings for pies, bread, rolls, muffins, cookies, cakes, and specialty items. Bake and decorate baked goods according to recipes or special customer orders, including wedding and specialty cakes. Inspect kitchen and food service areas to maintain quality and safety standards. Operate bakery machinery safely and efficiently. Organize inventory, order materials and supplies, and maintain kitchen equipment. Train, supervise, and support baking personnel and kitchen staff. Ensure a clean, safe, and productive work environment while meeting tight deadlines.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Experience with breads, rolls, desserts, pastries, donuts, muffins, and specialty cakes. Strong manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and ability to handle heavy loads. Ability to work standing for extended periods in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment. Attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks under pressure. Excellent communication skills, reliability, accuracy, and client-focused mindset. Ability to supervise a team of 3-4 people. Secondary (high) school diploma or equivalent experience.
