Welcome to Good Gluten, a farmers market setup, where every Saturday you'll get to showcase your creative genes and make an impact as a small scale producer. This role involves working with gluten free items, prior experience with gluten free products is an asset.

Prepare and bake a variety of cakes, pastries, and other baked goods according to established recipes. Decorate cakes and desserts with creativity and precision to meet customer specifications. Handle food safely and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen at all times. Assist with food preparation tasks, including measuring ingredients and mixing batter. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing inquiries. Package baked goods for sale, ensuring they are presented attractively and securely. Collaborate with team members to maintain an efficient workflow in the kitchen. Follow all food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure the highest quality of products.

Skills

Proficient in cake decorating techniques and creative presentation skills. Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred. Strong background in food preparation and cooking methods. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with customers. Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations. Experience within the food industry, particularly in baking or pastry arts. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $15.90-$18.25 per hour

Expected hours: 12 - 15 per week
