Job Description

We're looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Baker Assistant to join our team!

This position plays an important role in helping with daily food preparation and stepping in to provide great customer service when needed. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working with food, pays attention to detail, and feels comfortable in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities



Welcome customers warmly and assist them with their orders, ensuring a positive experience. Support baking and food preparation as needed. Keep the front-end area clean, organized, and well-stocked, including kitchen equipment and displays. Monitor inventory levels and report shortages to management. Follow all food handling and safety regulations to maintain product quality. Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth operations, especially during busy hours.

Requirements



Previous customer service experience is an asset Must have or be willing to obtain a valid food handler's certificate Minimum of 1 year of baking experience or solid baking knowledge preferred Must be comfortable working in a kitchen while maintaining cleanliness and efficiency Able to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a positive attitude are key Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays Team player with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn If you love working in a team-oriented environment and have a passion for great food and service, we'd love to hear from you!
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.20 per hour
