is a French Artisan Bakery in BC, located in Coquitlam and Vancouver. Our team of Bakers, Packers, Sales, and Logistics work around the clock to produce and distribute bread and pastries without any chemical preservatives, GMO grain or high gluten elements to the entire lower mainland.

We are looking for an early bird

Baker Assistant

to join our team and support our bakers in preparing and baking a variety of breads. This role is perfect for someone who loves working in a fast-paced kitchen, has attention to detail, and is eager to learn the art of French baking.

Responsibilities

Assist bakers in the preparation and production of bakery items Weigh and measure ingredients accurately. Monitor baking times and temperatures to ensure high-quality products. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including washing dishes and cleaning equipment. Assist with stocking and inventory management of baking ingredients. Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines. Support the team with additional tasks as needed.

Requirements

Availability to start working at

3 am

Count with reliable transportation other than public transit Comfortable working early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed. Passion for baking and willingness to learn. Previous experience in a bakery, pastry shop, or kitchen is an asset but not required. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. Ability to lift 40 lb to shoulder height very often and remain stand for long periods.
