The Back Shop is the area of the Clubhouse that stores our members' golf clubs, power carts and driving range equipment. As a

Back Shop Attendant

, you are one of the first impressions of the Willows to our guests and members. Not only are you great at starting conversation, you are great at maintaining our cart fleet while providing exceptional concierge services to our members and guests.

Here are a few of the duties to expect:

Conversing and building a rapport with the members/guests is an important element as you set the tone for the day while you load and unload their golf clubs. You are responsible for the golf carts, as such you will ensure they are clean, stocked and parked accordingly and move carts from the cart storage facility to cart staging area as required. While delivering an outstanding level of service and hospitality to members and guests alike you will give them the Willows treatment by cleaning and storing members' golf clubs. Practice range duties; picking range balls, washing range balls, refilling bins, hitting trays, cleaning and maintaining the tee area. Perform shuttle duties (driving members and guests to the Red Barn and parking lot at times). Maintain knowledge of emergency procedures, location of emergency equipment, and reporting procedures. Assist Golf Shop staff in preparing and running tournaments, clinics and other special events.

We'd be even more thrilled with the following:

Previous experience with golf carts, driving a shuttle or using a range picker would be a bonus! Familiarity with the rules of golf and course etiquette. Ability to analyze and solve problems; efficiently handle multiple duties under pressure with minimal supervision. Our season goes into October; preference will be given to applicants who are able to stay on to the end of the season.

We also think it's important to know:

You may be required to stand, sit, walk, push, pull, lift, grasp, bend and kneel for up to 8 hours at a time. Lift up to 40 lbs occasionally, 20 lbs frequently, and 10 lbs constantly. Work hours may include days and evenings on weekdays, weekends and holidays. As much as we would like to control these factors, we want to let you know as an employee you may be subjected to a variety of environmental conditions such as wind, rain, etc.
