Position Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Driver/Back-Shop Assistant to join our team. This part-time role focuses on the logistics of audio/visual equipment pickup and delivery, ensuring the safe and timely transport of gear and personnel. The ideal candidate will also assist in loading and unloading trucks, preparing for events, and maintaining equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely deliver and pick up audio-visual equipment to/from various locations. Load and unload trucks with equipment. Organize and put away equipment in the back shop. Handle cross-rentals: pickup and return items as needed. Interface with clients in a professional manner. Run occasional errands as directed by management. Maintain clean and organized truck cabs. Perform routine truck maintenance as required. Assist with the setup and teardown of equipment for events. Other tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements:

Valid "G" Ontario Driver's Licence with a clean driving record. Safety shoes. Smartphone with a data plan. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to lift and move heavy equipment. Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Pay: $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 30 per week
