Title: Azure Purview Data Governance ConsultantLocation: Toronto or London, ON (hybrid Mode)Duration: Long Term ContractNote: (Canadian Citizens / PR holders in Canada for more than 5 years) as they need to get ProB clearance.Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled Sr Consultant with 10 to 14 years of experience in Data Governance Functional, Data Governance & Compliance, Data Governance, and Microsoft Purview. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring data integrity, compliance, and governance within our organization. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of working both remotely and on-site, with no travel required. Must have Pro B certification.Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and implementation of data governance frameworks to ensure data integrity and compliance.
• Oversee the creation and maintenance of data governance policies and procedures.
• Provide expert guidance on data governance best practices to various stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data governance standards are met.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with data governance policies.
• Develop and deliver training programs on data governance and compliance.
• Monitor and report on data governance metrics and KPIs.
• Ensure the effective use of Microsoft Purview for data governance and compliance.
• Support the integration of data governance tools and technologies.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to data governance and compliance.
• Facilitate data governance meetings and workshops.
• Provide recommendations for continuous improvement in data governance practices.
• Ensure alignment of data governance initiatives with business objectives.
• Client-facing role.
