Currently, we are looking for an
Azure Cloud Developer
Your Mission Join our enthusiastic feature team of engineers and face the challenge to bring the threat detection and response platform of Open Systems to the next level. As an Azure Cloud Engineer in the Managed Detection and Response team, you will use your knowledge and experience to build modern solutions on the Azure platform. You will be part of a crazy good cybersecurity solution. As an Azure Cloud Engineer for Open Systems MDR team, your main responsibilities will be:

  • Design, Develop and support Cloud-Native applications and API development using NET, NET Core and Containers in Azure
  • Involved in implementing highly scalable solutions
  • Design Integration Architecture that is scalable, fault tolerant and meets service SLAs/SLOs.
  • Review code and design from other team members and provide constructive feedback
  • Contribute to improving the security posture of our Cloud Platform
  • Resolve escalated incidents related to our CI/CD tools and Azure platform
  • Build and provide observability support for Azure platform solutions

Your Qualifications
  • Experience in implementing integration using queues and topics
  • Experience in Event driven architecture leveraging high throughput, real-time stream processing tools
  • Experience with developing application integrations on Azure Platform using Azure Web Apps, Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Azure Durable Functions, API management, Services Bus, Event Grid, Rest API’s, Cosmos/PostgreSQL etc..
  • Full ability to design, write, test, and release code in general-purpose languages such as .Net, .Net Core, C#, Typescript.
  • Experience in developing REST APIs using .NET Core Framework is a must.
  • Develop cloud native solutions using REST APIs and other microservices.
  • Strong experience in designing APIs using standards such as Swagger
  • Experience in API Lifecycle, API Management and Governance
  • Understanding of API and Micro Services Architecture
  • Flexibility and willingness to carry out different roles, can work independently, self-motivated and problem solver.
  • Flexibility on working with teams with different time zones outside US.
  • Experience developing proactive monitoring and alerting capabilities for the different components of the platform.
  • Experience with monitoring and responding to alerts and issues with ability to be on call as needed.
  • University degree in Information Security or Computer Science.
  • Certified Microsoft Azure Developer with working experience in designing and developing Integration solutions using Azure Integration services such as Azure APIM, Logic Apps, App Services, Event Hub
  • Multiple years of experience working with CI/CD solutions (preferably based on GitHub actions, ArgoCD, Artifactory).
Bonus Skills
  • Experience with AWS Cloud.
  • Understanding of GraphQL, Event Driven Architecture Schemas, API metadata and discovery with Swagger.
  • Knowledge of Go, Python, Golang.
  • Experience with Microsoft Active Directory and Azure AD.
  • Has good understanding of tools like Azure DevOps, GitHub Enterprise, Docker, Kubernetes.
  • Possesses familiarity with configuration management across a multi-platform estate such as Ansible, Puppet, Terraform, or ARM Templates.
  • Experience working with backstage.io as a developer portal.
  • Experience working with mono repo and trunk based development.

This is a remote position and can be located anywhere in Canada
