ABOUT THE JOB
The development team at Rewind is made up of small teams of 5 people; these people work together, collaboratively, to build new features and functions for our amazing customers.
Developing reliable, securable, scalable, supportable code is a must.
In broad terms, each member of the team is responsible for the following:

• Collaborating with other members of the development team to derive the best possible design to meet requirements; you will make decisions and write code that will help steer the business.
• You will work with the team to enhance our backup engine, including the implementation of new features and automated test cases.
• You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of each production update, including finding ways to improve and optimize overall platform performance.
• Providing constructive feedback in the form of code and design reviews
• Looking for ways to improve our development and deployment processes
• Ensuring security and performance of our products
• You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of each production update, including finding ways to improve and optimize overall platform performance.
• As a part of Development team at Rewind, you will be required to participate in an on-call rotation

ABOUT YOU
This role is for you if you have:

• 
  
• 7+ years of experience as a Software developer

• You ideally have knowledge/experience with Ruby on Rails and/or Python frameworks

• You must be proficient in REST and GraphQL APIs, JavaScript, HTML, CSS
• You are well-versed in AWS and source control management (preferably Git)
• Experience with Linux - you feel comfortable working from a terminal.
• You have previous experience with React or other front-end framework
• You are self-motivated and possess strong organizational and time-management skills.
• You need a problem-crushing attitude.
• You have to be able to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously and handle a fast-paced work environment, new challenges, and changing priorities.
