Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various destinations while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service, as well as the ability to operate heavy equipment and manage freight effectively.

Duties

Operate trucks and other heavy vehicles for the transportation of goods. Ensure timely delivery of freight while adhering to scheduled routes. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance. Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of freight. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status. Perform basic automotive repairs as needed to ensure vehicle reliability. Operate forklifts for loading and unloading tasks when required.

Skills

Proficient in heavy equipment operation with a focus on commercial driving. Strong understanding of freight handling procedures and regulations. Experience in automotive repair is a plus for maintaining vehicle performance. Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients. Strong problem-solving abilities to address any issues that arise during transport.

Pay: $19.54-$25.00 per hour

Schedule:

Monday to Friday Weekends as needed
