We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. The Truck Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of service.

Duties

Operate heavy-duty trucks to transport freight across designated routes. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling of goods to prevent damage. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and delivery receipts. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving on public roads. Perform basic maintenance and automotive repair on the truck as needed, ensuring optimal performance. Operate forklifts or other heavy equipment when necessary for loading and unloading freight. Adaptability in layover/detention situations

Skills

Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid AZ Manual Transmission License. Strong knowledge of freight handling procedures and logistics operations. Proficiency in operating heavy equipment, including forklifts. Basic automotive repair skills for routine maintenance tasks. Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols. Effective communication skills for interacting with team members and clients.
