Joel Vachon Trucking, a division of CJ Equipment Sales & Service, is seeking a dependable and experienced A/Z Truck Driver for a full-time, local haul position. This role involves safely operating a truck and pup to transport mine ore between local sites efficiently and professionally.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely transport raw materials (mine ore) to and from local processing sites Operate truck and pup combinations with precision and care Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and basic preventative maintenance Follow designated routes while ensuring safe, on-time deliveries Maintain accurate logbooks (hours of service, mileage, fuel, maintenance) Properly load and unload materials following safety and compliance protocols Adhere to delivery instructions and verify shipment details Comply with all company policies, traffic laws, and provincial regulations Report any accidents, mechanical issues, or safety concerns promptly

Qualifications:

Valid A/Z license with at least 3 years of driving experience Experience operating truck and pup configurations Strong knowledge of Ontario's transportation and road safety regulations Physically fit and comfortable working extended hours in various conditions Familiarity with Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs) and related systems Clean driver's abstract (mandatory) Professional, reliable, and safety-focused Willingness to complete occasional out-of-town hauls Able to provide professional references
