Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting freight safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies. This role requires a strong understanding of commercial driving practices. Dump experience an asset.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a commercial truck to transport goods to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe working condition. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of driving hours and vehicle maintenance. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road, ensuring the safety of yourself and others.

Qualifications

Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required. Experience in commercial driving with a strong understanding of freight transportation practices. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Good communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
