Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and professionalism in handling freight.

Duties

Operate heavy trucks and commercial vehicles to transport freight to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling of materials. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours worked and mileage. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transit. Adhere to all local, state, and federal driving regulations. Perform basic maintenance on the vehicle, including automotive repairs as needed.

Skills

Minimum 2 years of experience required. Proficient in heavy equipment operation, ensuring safe handling of trucks and freight. Knowledge of automotive repair techniques for basic vehicle maintenance. Experience in freight handling, including loading and unloading procedures. Familiarity with forklift operation for efficient movement of goods within loading areas. Valid commercial driving license (CDL) with a clean driving record is essential. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.

Pay: $21.00-$24.00 per hour
