Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across various routes. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage freight effectively. As a Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the integrity of our cargo.

Responsibilities

Operate heavy trucks to transport freight to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transit. Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road. Assist in the maintenance of the truck and report any mechanical issues promptly.

Requirements

Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required. Driver abstract must be good standing with no more than 3 demerits. Proven min. 1 year experience in commercial driving or related fields is preferred. Familiarity with freight handling procedures and heavy equipment operation is a plus. Excellent time management skills with a strong focus on punctuality. Positive attitude and safety oriented mindset. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients. Must be able to pass background checks and drug screenings as required by company policies.
