Responsibilities

Operate and drive a day cab truck for pick-up and delivery of freight, ensuring timely and safe transportation. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance. Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pick ups as well as vehicle maintenance, reporting any issues promptly. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.

Qualifications

Valid A/Z driver's license with a clean driving abstract Clean CVOR Clean Criminal Reference check (required) Proven experience in commercial driving, specifically with day cab trucks At least 25 years of age Proficiency in freight handling Familiarity with heavy equipment operation and automotive repair Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices in transportation Excellent communication and time management skills

Summary

As an A/Z Owner Operator for P&D, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods using a day cab truck. Reporting to the Terminal manager, your core skills in commercial driving will be essential for navigating routes and adhering to safety regulations. Your premium skills in freight handling will enhance your ability to deliver and pick up freight effectively. Additionally, relevant skills in heavy equipment operation and automotive repair will ensure that you maintain your vehicle in optimal condition, contributing to the overall efficiency of our operations.
