About the Role

We are seeking a dependable and experienced AZ Driver with Heavy Equipment Operator experience to join our growing team. This position involves the safe operation of commercial trucks and heavy equipment while supporting construction and job site operations. Safety is our top priority, and the successful candidate must demonstrate a strong commitment to safe work practices at all times.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure health and safety is the number one priority by following all company policies and procedures Operate AZ-class commercial trucks safely and efficiently Deliver products, materials, and equipment to various work locations Load and unload trucks and secure loads properly Oversee cargo handling and equipment preparation Operate heavy machinery including excavators, loaders, bulldozers, and backhoes Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections ensuring safety and roadworthiness Inspect vehicles to confirm mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment are in proper working order Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage Maintain accurate logs and load-related documentation Clean up any debris caused by loading/unloading activities Follow all provincial and federal transportation regulations Assist with general site operations as required

Requirements

Valid AZ Driver's License Certification from a recognized Truck Driving School Proven experience operating heavy machinery Clean driving abstract Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to perform routine vehicle maintenance Knowledge of construction and job site safety standards Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to lift 75+ lbs and perform physical tasks Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety Reliable, punctual, and strong work ethic

Skills and Competencies

Excellent organizational and time management skills Strong verbal and written communication abilities Ability to multitask and meet deadlines Comfortable working independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in construction or civil works Valid equipment operator certifications or tickets Additional heavy equipment experience
